Romamerica was formed from a dream of its president, Calvin Spurlin. Calvin wanted to do something to help the Romanian people after visiting there on a mission trip in 1995. He began his quest to make it happen and formed alliances with companies in Romania. He now has his own factory in Romania with excellent artisans making hand-made lace procelain as only the Romanians can.
Calvin has been very active with porcelain painters groups. He has had a large line of porcelain lace. As he branches out into other areas, you would do well to watch our web site to see what is available next.
Calvin has also found a wonderful Romanian porcelain figurine artist, Emil, who has made some beautiful figurines of old world crafts. Emil additionally makes porcelain animals, especially dogs and horses, and animal scenes. You really have to see them to appreciate the fine workmanship that goes into these hand crafted items.
